Okay, so I’ve been meaning to do this for a while, and today I finally dove in: I wanted to compile my own personal list of Triple H’s best matches. I’m a huge wrestling fan, and The Game has had some absolute bangers over the years. It’s tough to narrow it down, you know?
First, I started by just brainstorming. I grabbed a notebook and jotted down every match that came to mind – the ones that really stuck with me. I had stuff from all different eras, from his early days to his later feuds. It was a pretty long list, to be honest.
Digging Through the Archives
Next, I fired up my laptop. I have subscriptions for WWE, so I went there for some serious digging. It was so easy to search for the match that I needed. I spent hours going through old pay-per-views and Raws. It was awesome seeing some of these matches again – brought back a lot of memories!
I wanted to be thorough, so I made sure to rewatch key moments, not just the full matches. I was paying attention to everything: the storytelling, the in-ring work, the crowd reaction… the whole package.
My (Totally Subjective) Criteria
- In-Ring Action: Was it technically sound? Did they pull off some crazy moves?
- Storytelling: Did the match make sense in the context of the feud? Did it have emotional weight?
- Crowd Reaction: Was the crowd invested? Did they pop for the big spots?
- Overall Impact: Did the match feel important? Did it have lasting consequences?
After the matches, I made my ratings, I was trying to rank them. It took me to and fro to decide, but, anyway, I got a final version of my own top list.
It’s my personal list. It took a few hours, but it was super fun. I got to relive some classic wrestling moments and really appreciate Triple H’s career. Time to fire this list over some online friends and see what they think!
