Okay, so, I’ve been messing around with this mobile game, Marvel Contest of Champions, you know, MCOC, for a while now. And man, there are so many characters, like, a crazy amount. It got me thinking, who are the actual best ones? Who should I really be focusing on?
So, I went down this rabbit hole of trying to figure out the ultimate MCOC tier list for 2024. I started by just playing a ton, trying out different champions. I fought a bunch of battles, did some quests, you name it. Honestly, it was kind of a mess at first. I was all over the place, just trying to use everyone, but that didn’t really get me anywhere. It’s seriously tough to test all these characters properly on your own. There are so many!
Digging Deeper
Then, I started looking online. I figured other people had to be as obsessed as me, right? And yeah, there are tons of tier lists out there. I looked at a bunch of them, trying to see if there were any patterns. I saw some names kept popping up – these were the champions everyone seemed to think were awesome.
I started making my own list, a rough draft, you know? I put the characters into different tiers, like “God Tier,” “Top Tier,” “Okay Tier,” and “Meh Tier” – just my own names for them. I moved champions around a lot based on how they did in different game modes. Like, some are amazing in Alliance Wars, but not as great in, say, story quests. It was a lot of trial and error.
Focusing on Mutant
Then I thought, okay, let’s break this down even further. I decided to focus just on the Mutant champions first. These guys are cool because they have all sorts of different powers. They are known for their diverse abilities.
- I played a bunch of matches with different mutant champions, taking notes on who felt powerful and who just, well, didn’t.
- I looked at what other players were saying about these Mutant champions in forums and stuff.
- I compared their abilities, like, who can do the most damage, who can take a hit, and who has the coolest special moves.
I kept tweaking my Mutant tier list. It took a while, but I finally felt like I had a pretty good idea of which Mutant champions were the best of the best in 2024. And then, I’m like, okay, now I gotta do this for all the other champion classes, like Skill, Science, Cosmic, Mystic, and Tech. It’s a huge project, but I’m kind of addicted now. I gotta figure out the complete tier list. It’s like a puzzle, and I’m determined to solve it. I will keep this list up to date.
But yeah, that’s where I’m at with this whole MCOC tier list thing. It’s been a journey, let me tell you. Lots of playing, lots of researching, lots of list-making. But hey, at least I’m having fun, right? And hopefully, my list will help some other players out there who are also trying to figure out which champions to focus on. It’s a tough call, but someone’s gotta do it!
