Alright, so I wanted to mess around with the “push to talk” feature in Gray Zone Warfare. Figured it’d be cool to, you know, actually talk to people in-game.
Finding the Setting
First thing I did was fire up the game. Once I was in, I headed straight to the settings menu. You know the drill – it’s usually a little gear icon or something.
Then, I clicked on the “Audio” tab. I figured, “Hey, voice chat… audio… makes sense, right?”
I scrolled through the options, looking for anything related to “push to talk” or “voice chat.” There were a bunch of sliders for volume and stuff, but I kept my eyes peeled for the important stuff. I also used Ctrl+F.
Setting it Up
And boom! There it was: “Push to Talk.” It was probably set to “Voice Activation” by default, or maybe even turned off completely. I don’t get the default options sometimes.
I clicked on the dropdown menu and switched it to “Push to Talk.”
Next, it asked me to choose a keybind. Basically, you gotta pick a button on your keyboard that you’ll press to talk in-game. I went with the “Middle Mouse Button” because it’s easy to reach and I don’t usually use it for anything else. But you can pick whatever you want. Caps Lock is also fine, I guess.
Testing it Out
Now for the fun part – testing it out! I jumped into a game and waited for a chance to say something. I pressed the “Middle Mouse Button”.
I have pressed the button and I said something like, “Hey, can anyone hear me?” Just to make sure it was working. Then pressed it again.
And guess what? It worked! Someone actually responded. So yeah, that’s pretty much it. It’s not rocket science, but sometimes those settings menus can be a bit of a maze.
