61pp. Terra cotta cl. w/art noveau palms above psuedo Egyptian temple w/ applique image [image scraped 1/2 inch] above child's head. The temple gilt rubbed but at least 95% complete. Not only does the cover say BEN DERRICK'S MISTAKE (w/no interior reference but standard for 1879, 1880, and 1884 editions), but OCLC locates no copy of mistake. This is a charming juvenile, mostly found in low twenties. Here's the double mistake, not only w/cover title inaccurate but also either with the wrong copyright [remember 1879 & 1880] but or without any copy located of this edition by OCLC. (5610730272)
