10 pieces. Braithwaite owed money to the New England Conservatory of Music. Eight of these pieces are TLS to him about various amounts due. Also present is a typed carbon retained, May 1932, w/very sad financial details. In addition, the collection has a bank check (Oct. 1931) drawn & SIGNED by him. Although Braithwaite achieved nat'l prominence for his anthologies of magazine verse, the anthologies didn't necessarily make him "comfortable." (4565657562)
