This author eviscerates the mealy-mouthed private citizen defense in 12 ways. The author urges four points. Third "to correct, always, the impression that reactions to his lies must necessarily mean reactions to the Church which he dishonors, & to see him always as a private citizen of the U.S." Robbins, a Unitarian minister, served as president of Meadville Theol.
