A blank circle surrounded by four sm. & four large ellipses supporting a dodecahedron of arches (rose window!) centered in a panel surrounded by a plethora of maze-like squiggles (Arabic comes to mind) cornered by chadded (1851!) geometrics. Diapered bkstrp. All this embossment mildly rubbed, but at the right angle the design strikes the eye like a swinging door in the dark! Literature. (4383164625)
