1 Collection of six photographs of balloon.
Aix Les Bains, France 1905 
Four very clear images. Two are 4 x 5"; one is a real photo card, dated & stamped; & the 4th is 4 x 4" albumen. The first three show progressive stages, sandbags on ground, elevation w/sandbags in air, close-up of basket w/three female passengers. The 4th shows the balloon well up in the air. #5 shows people (in dirigible) while #6 shows a seated lady by window of the dirigible. Three are laid down on card stock leaf; the bldg in background for the 1st three as well as the costumes support continuity. France. Photography. Women. Travel. (4244766387)
